Our Method

The Activator Method is a very popular low-force adjusting technique that is used exclusively at Advanced Chiropractic Center.  This technique uses an adjusting instrument (called an activator!) to correct the position of misaligned vertebrae.  An adjustment with the activator instrument is essentially doing the same thing as a traditional hand adjustment, but without the added trauma of popping, twisting, or pulling on the body.

This is a very comfortable technique that works to restore proper spinal alignment and remove pressure placed on the nerves as they exit the vertebral column.  The activator instrument and technique have been around for more than 55 years. This method is backed by multitudes of peer-reviewed research, proving its safety and effectiveness.

Who Can Receive Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic care provides numerous benefits to people of all ages, from infants to seniors, by addressing musculoskeletal issues and promoting overall health and wellness.

Babies can benefit from chiropractic care because birth can be a traumatic event that may cause misalignments in their spine or joints. Chiropractic care for infants is gentle and non-invasive, and may help with conditions such as colic, reflux, difficulty breastfeeding, and sleeping problems.

As children grow and develop, chiropractic care can help with maintaining proper spinal alignment, improving posture, and enhancing overall health and wellness.

Chiropractic care can benefit adults of all ages, from athletes looking to improve their performance, to pregnant women seeking relief from pregnancy-related discomfort, to seniors seeking to maintain their mobility and independence.
